TITANIUM FRAMES

Experience unmatched strength, lightweight performance, and sleek design with titanium frames. Perfect for motor cyclists, seeking the ultimate in durability and style.

Bespoke frames in the lightest of high-performance metals

Lightweight frames designed and built to exacting standards by experts in Titanium fabrication. Bespoke chassis for race cars and trellis frames for motorbikes, bicycles, mountain bikes and off-road vehicles.

Our approach to Titanium

We employ only the most skilled craftsmen, designers, certified welders, fabricators, and hydraulic bending machine operators to make our bespoke frames in-house

Our welding technique

Titanium is a highly reactive metal at high temperatures. Welding in ambient air it reacts with oxygen, nitrogen and even the carbon in steel tools to create brittle compounds – embrittlement. We therefore use only inert gases and precise gas purging in our TIG welding.

How we avoid embrittlement

As Titanium requires the eradication of iron bearing carbon metals in our tools and precision jigs, we have adapted them to overcome this danger. As the metal also tends to stick to cutting tools our fabrication methods and work routines also meet its demanding needs.

Titanium in a nutshell

Titanium is 45% lighter than steels such as 4130, T45 or ROPT but with the same strength and increased stiffness. Compared to aluminium it's twice as strong but only weighs 60% more. It’s routinely used in aerospace for its high strength and lightweight to meet they’re most exacting of standards. It will oxidize into brilliant permanent colours when high heat, such as a bike or car exhaust gas, is applied to it. A characteristic prized by all who can afford its higher cost.

Tubing

Titanium tubing (Grade 9) is more difficult to work with than carbon steels. To meet its demands, we use only inline high-pressure boosted mandrel bending machines to bend our tubing.

Sheet

Titanium in sheet form (Grade 5) is extremely springy, wanting to return to its original shape. Our precision fabrication of Titanium sheet meets aerospace standards and methods to overcome this characteristic.
