Precision formed bends
Alunox hydraulically formed bends are wrinkle free. They include legs and each is made to tight specifications ensuring the integrity of the tube diameter and smoothness of the inner surface. This avoids turbulence and guarantees the unhindered flow of air or liquids through the tube.
Hydraulic mandrel bending
To ensure precision formed bends conform to a specification or, for example to Ice Engine’s parameters, we use only inline high-pressure boosted mandrel bending machines to form our tubing.
Wide choice of metals
All our bends from stock are Stainless Steel but we also supply bends in Titanium, Inconel, Aluminium, Mild Steel, Copper, and Nickel at short lead times. For any metal other than Stainless Steel please phone with your requirements and we will quote as quickly as possible.
Prototyping
To ensure complete conformity to customers’ requirements we can also manufacture prototypes using 3D printed fixtures as proof of concept, prior to batch or volume production. These precision printed fixtures can then be used for immediate batch production or archived for future call-down by customers.
